Besides existing product R&D, Opsona is looking to in-license, acquire or co-develop further compounds, particularly those involved in inflammation/autoimmunity. We have a strong track record of collaborative and licensing opportunities with academic and pharmaceutical partners and a strong and committed investor base. The recently announced €21.3M ($30M) Series B financing will support our core programs through clinical trials, but will also underpin new pipeline compound in-licensing opportunities that Opsona would like to evaluate. With an increasing clinical development focus around a robust pipeline of new molecules that suppress inflammatory immune responses, Opsona is now looking to partner our OPN 501 small molecule platform.
Opsona has is seeking to further develop OpsoVacTM through collaboration with multiple specialist vaccine, immunotherapy and cell therapy companies.
In-Licensing
Opsona is interested to evaluate further compounds involved in inflammation & autoimmunity, which meet the following criteria:
- Small molecule, monoclonal antibody or biologic (if acting through an extracellular receptor),
- Proof-of-concept in a disease model,
- Stage: candidate drug to phase I, and
- Market value: > $500m, with a clear competitive position,
We can offer flexible business terms and will consider in-license, acquisition or co-develop with a partner.
